What started the whole Bauman girls photo shoot was what took place the day before at Thanksgiving with my family.  We had so much fun that I wanted to repeat it, if possible, with my in-laws.  Of course, it looked a little different, but we had fun none-the-less.

After taking a few shots with the whole gang, we booted all of the guys and then the real fun began.  If you ever want to throw leaves, sycamore are the best!

But first, let me tell you a little something about my parents.  They are awesome!  I will never tire of taking their pictures doing what I always remember and will remember them doing.  Mom in the kitchen cooking, doing the dishes, reading, playing Dominoes, and any number of other things.  Dad, sitting in his chair either in the basement or living room, working on some sort of recording.  A movie, a tape to a CD, a record to a CD, a reel-to-reel to a CD.  You name it, he’s recording it or re-recording it.  Dad doing the dishes with an assistant after a large family meal.  And my mom, sitting at the table every morning, bright and early, reading her Bible like she has done every day of my life and even before. These are the memories that I will continue to capture for the rest of their lives because these are the images that will always comfort me.

We were missing a few family members from this shot.  Two of my brothers and their families.  Maybe next year.  Which means, there are two sisters-in-law and two nieces missing from our fun “girls only” shots.   😦
