It was a beautiful day and we had nowhere to be. The girls were home from college, it was cool outside and we were all together. Sometimes in separate spaces. Sometimes in the same room. Talking, working, playing and eating. It was one of those days that are few and far between anymore and we took advantage of it.
Knowing that Memorial Day would be hot and that we wanted to enjoy our new, albeit small patio while grilling out, we decided to celebrate the holiday two days early. Why not? It’s always more fun to go against the flow. I’ve been doing it my entire life and it works.

Yes, I was there too. 😉
